Consultation of the heritage
of the Municipal Library of Adria is free and open.
The heritage is largely
placed in warehouses. A maximum of 2 items can be requested for on-site reading
at a time. The items consulted can be left in storage if the user needs them
for several consecutive days.
The Consultation Room
offers around 1300 volumes on open shelves (encyclopedias, manuals,
dictionaries including the main foreign languages including monolinguals) and it
has recently been rearranged thanks to the contribution of the CARIPARO
Foundation as part of the On-life Culture call and the Municipality project
“Library 4.0”. Tables with electrical and USB sockets and seats for users with mobility
impairments are available.
Approximately 30 seats
are available.
Several newspapers and
magazines are also displayed in the Consultation Room.
The Reading Room is
also used for consulting the material of the Ancient Archives and the
Historical Archives and as a study room for reading its own texts.
